Most of us what to be more productive & want our companies to grow, yet in order to do that we’ve got to know WHAT to focus on in order to get the growth our company needs. The Law Of Three is a system I learned while reading “No Excuses: The Power of Self Discipline” by Brian Tracy. The Law Of Three states that there are three main things that you do that contribute 90% or more to the value of your company. This system will help you identify the THREE actions you need to take that will bring the most value to your company, business or organization.
The Law Of Three
Make a list of EVERYTHING you need to do in one week. Write down all task, big and small, like checking your email and calling people back.
Look over that list and ask yourself:
“If I could only do one thing on this list, all day long, which one thing would bring the most value to my company?”
You may know the answer instantly. Circle it & ask yourself this second question:
“If I could do only two things on this list, all day long - what would be the second thing?”
Look over the list and find the second most important activity that would bring the most value to your company. Circle it.
Look over that list and ask this last question:
“If I could only do three things on this list, all day long, what would be my third choice?”
And that’s it! That’s the Law of Three. Those are the THREE actions you must take daily that will bring the most value to your business.
Now it’s up to you to discipline yourself to do these tasks all day and every day! 😉
